Common use of United States Fish and Wildlife Service Clause in Contracts

United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The USFWS is an agency of the United States Department of the Interior authorized by Congress to administer and enforce FESA with respect to terrestrial wildlife, certain fish species, insects and plants, and to enter into agreements with states, local governments, and other entities to conserve threatened, endangered, and other species of concern.
