UPU Convention. The Universal Postal Convention. References in the Agreement are to the Articles of the UPU Convention currently in force, as revised by the 2012 Doha Congress. As later Universal Postal Conventions enter into force, these references are to be read as to the corresponding portions of the language Articles in those conventions even though the numbering of such portions within the Convention have been subsequently recast or otherwise changed by the UPU.

UPU Convention. The Universal Postal Convention, as amended from time to time. This Annex, integrated further to the SC of 11/12 May 2016, covers the delivery of cross- border LC/AO items weighing up to 2 kg, tendered as Exprès items and branded with the Common Logo (“Exprès Items”). Following the decision of the SC held on 16 October 2017, as of 1 January 2018, a Sending Party who chooses to send an outgoing cross-border mail item as an Exprès Item to a Receiving Party must do so under the terms of this Agreement. The SC agreed to add the above change in this Annex instead of in the body of the Agreement in order to avoid a new written instrument duly executed on behalf of each of the Parties.

  • Convention Except as otherwise provided in this Conveyance, each calendar day, month, quarter and year shall be deemed to begin at 12:01 a.m. Central Time on the stated day or on the first day of the stated month, quarter or year, and to end at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on the next day or on first day of the next month, quarter or year, respectively.

  • Day count convention Any interest, commission or fee accruing under a Finance Document will accrue from day to day and is calculated on the basis of the actual number of days elapsed and a year of 360 days or, in any case where the practice in the Relevant Interbank Market differs, in accordance with that market practice.

  • Union Conventions Leave of Absence without pay and without loss of seniority shall be granted upon request to the Employer, to employees elected or appointed to represent the Union at Union Conventions or seminars. The total of such time off for all causes and for all employees in this unit combined shall not exceed fifteen (15) working days in any calendar year.

  • Business Day Convention If the date on which any payment is due to be made under this Agreement shall occur on a day on which is not a Business Day, such payment shall be made in accordance with the Business Day Convention as specified in the Notes or the Indenture.

  • Measurements and arithmetic conventions All measurements and calculations shall be in the metric system and calculations done to 2 (two) decimal places, with the third digit of 5 (five) or above being rounded up and below 5 (five) being rounded down.
