Usability, accessibility and testing. The contractor must advise on the accessibility of all content and offer proactive suggestions for improvements or alterations within the context of the framework public body’s corporate identity and declared strategic objectives. The contractor must work to a minimum of AA standard as specified by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI). Usability requirements may include, user testing at all stages of development including: • Quantitative testing (benchmarking) • Qualitative user testing; • Heuristic evaluation of usability • Surveys and interviews • Accessibility testing (with representative user groups) • Designing or proposing appropriate solutions • Create prototype solutions for comparative testing
