Use and Obtaining Records from Body Cameras. It is contemplated that the SRO will have and will use a body camera during the SRO’s assigned duties in the District when engaging in incidents of threats or altercations on school property. Such videos shall be designated and maintained as law enforcement records, not District records. The County shall make body camera video records available to the District as required by law and as further provided in the parties’ agreement concerning the sharing of information. However, the District acknowledges the County has limitations on release and withholding based upon the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act and the cases interpreting this act.
