Common use of Use of Connection Clause in Contracts

Use of Connection. (a) The Extranet shall take reasonable security precautions to prevent unauthorized individuals or entities from gaining access to the Connection and Information. The Extranet shall comply with all reasonable security specifications or requirements of the Exchange in order to prevent the Connection and the Information from being improperly used or accessed or from being improperly taken. The Extranet shall not provide Customers with access to the Exchange or the Information, without the Exchange’s prior written consent. If the Extranet nevertheless does provide such access without the Exchange’s prior written consent, the Extranet shall be liable to the Exchange, as set forth in Section 2, for Fees, which would otherwise be due the Exchange from such unauthorized Customers for receipt of goods and services, including, but not limited to, Information from the Exchange. If the Extranet becomes aware of a potential unauthorized use or access by a Customer, the Extranet shall notify the Exchange immediately of such use.
