Use of Electronic Files. 9.1.8.1 The Owner, Contracting Authority, A/E, and Contractor reasonably expect that they will provide Electronic Files to each other to facilitate the design and construction of the Project consistent with current practices and customs in the construction industry. 9.1.8.2 The Owner, Contracting Authority, A/E, and Contractor acknowledge that the use of Electronic Files involves risks not generally associated with the use of paper documents. Those risks include alteration (inadvertent or intentional) and deterioration, which may not be readily apparent through casual observation.
