UViolence Policies and Procedures. The Employer agrees to develop, in consultation with the joint health and safety committee or health and safety representative, formalized explicit policies and procedures to deal with violence. The policy will address the prevention of workplace violence, the management of violent situations and support to employees who have faced violence. The policy and procedures shall be part of the employee’s health and safety policy and written copies shall be provided to each employee at time of hire. Prior to implementation any changes to these policies, the employer agrees to consult with the Union and the joint health and safety committee.
