NURSE REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES. The Employer recognizes nurse representatives appointed or elected by the Local Association to represent the nurses in their employment relations with the Employer. The Local Association shall advise the Employer of the name(s) of such representatives, and any revisions as and when required. The Employer shall not be required to recognize or correspond with any representative until the Employer has been so notified in writing.
NURSE REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES. 7.01 The Employer acknowledges the right of the Association to appoint or otherwise select a Negotiations Committee of not more than three (3) nurses, who shall be employees of the Employer, and will recognize and deal with the said Committee with respect to negotiations for a new or amended Collective Agreement. The Employer agrees that no member of the negotiating committee shall suffer any loss of earnings for negotiations with the Employer for a renewal agreement, up to conciliation.

NURSE REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES. 8.01 The Employer recognizes a total of two (2) nurse representatives to be appointed or elected from the two (2) bargaining units to represent the nurse(s) in their employment relations. (a) The purpose of the Union-Management Committee is to promote and provide effective and meaningful communications of information and ideas and to make recommendations on matters of mutual concern. Matters may be referred to the Committee by the Association or the Employer. (b) The composition of the Union-Management Committee shall be three (3) nurses appointed to act on behalf of the two (2) bargaining units and three (3) representatives of the Employer. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time. The Union will advise the Employer who the representatives are in writing. (c) The Union-Management Committee shall meet at least once per quarter. Either party will provide to the other, at least five (5) working days in advance of such meetings, a list of items it wishes to discuss. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a representative of either party may notify a representative of the other in writing of its desire to meet outside of the quarterly meetings and such notice will include a list of the items it wishes to discuss. Within three (3) working days after receipt of such notice, the parties will establish a meeting date and time. It is understood that there shall be no discussion of grievances at these meetings. (d) A representative of either party shall notify a representative of the other in writing of its desire to meet, and such notice will include a list of the items it wishes to discuss. Within ten (10) working days the parties will agree on a meeting date and time. A written record shall be maintained of matters referred to the Committee and their recommended disposition (unless agreed to the contrary with respect to any problem). It is understood that there shall be no discussion of grievances at these meetings. (a) Concerns about workload assignments shall not be the subject of a grievance. Such issues will be submitted to the Manager, in writing by the Bargaining Unit President within fourteen (14) calendar days of the occurrence. A discussion by the Union-Management Committee shall take place within twenty (20) calendar days of the Manager's receipt of the Union letter. NURSE REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES. 7.01 All joint Employer Association meetings shall be scheduled where practical during the nurse’s regular working hours. The Employer will provide replacement staff where operationally required.
NURSE REPRESENTATIVES AND ASSOCIATION COMMITTEES. C.01 There shall be a minimum six (6) nurse representatives exclusive of the President who shall be Hospital nurses and who shall represent both full-time and part-time nurses. The representatives shall be from the following areas: (a) Clinics: Breast Assessment, J4, J7, Xxxxx 1, Cardiac Rehabilitation Centre, ENT., CHF (b) PSS, Perianesthesia (c) Urgent Care Centre/Radiology/COPC/Diabetes Education (d) Endoscopy/CIOC/Out Patient Mental Health Clinics (e) OR, Opthamalmology The sixth (6th) representative will remain in the event that additional clinics are transferred to the Hospital. The Association shall advise the employer of the names of the nurse representatives and the areas concerned. C.02 There shall be one Association-Hospital Committee composed of three (3) representatives of the Association, (representing both full-time and part-time nurses) and three (3) representatives of the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time. One Association-Hospital Committee will represent both full-time and part-time nurses. C.03 There shall be a Grievance Committee composed of three (3) nurses, including the President of the local Association, who shall be Hospital nurses and shall represent both full-time and part-time nurses. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time. C.04 There shall be a Negotiating Committee composed of three (3) nurses, including the President of the local Association, at least one (1) of whom shall be part-time. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time. C.05 The Professional Development Committee shall consist of three (3) Association members and three (3) Hospital members in accordance with Article 9.02. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time. C.06 When a meeting between the Hospital and the Association is scheduled outside the scheduled working hours of the Bargaining Unit President, and the Hospital requires the attendance of the Bargaining Unit President, the hours spent in attending the meeting will be banked at her straight time hourly rate up to a maximum of thirty (30) hours per fiscal year. Accumulated hours may be taken as time off with pay at a time mutually agreed between the President and her manager. Any hours still banked at the end of the fiscal year will be paid out at the President’s straight time hourly rate.
