Common use of VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORTS Clause in Contracts

VEHICLE INSPECTION REPORTS. This evaluation process combines quantitative data with qualitative measurements. The evaluation will be scored on a total of 100 points. The number of points per each category is detailed below. Performance reductions in a given school year will remain in effect throughout the duration of the contract. Any performance reductions in subsequent years would be in addition to prior performance reductions under the same contract.  Accidents (6 points)  Breakdowns (6 points)  Service Complaints (6 points) This data will be entered and stored in the MPS HEAT System. Weekly reports will be available for bus contractors to review. Contract Compliance Audit (14 points) will verify that the terms, conditions and dates reflected in the General Specifications and Operating Procedures and the Contract(s) are being met. On-site and document audits will be conducted by MPS staff annually. The final evaluation tool is the award of extra points for customer service above expectations. The Director of Business and Transportation Services may award a point, up to a total of 10 points for extra-ordinary incidents of customer service. The award of these points will be at the sole discretion of the Director of Business and Transportation Services. A more detailed review of each evaluation criteria is provided below.
