Verb joog Sample Clauses

Additionally, we seek to identify any regular syntactic patterns or structural regularities within these sentences from the corpus. Of particular interest is the observation that despite the characteristic grammatical gender distinctions in Somali nouns, feminine nouns often take different inflections compared to masculine nouns. There are instances in the corpus where both masculine and feminine nouns take identical verb conjugations when combined with the focus particle waxaa in the sentence. In certain instances in the corpus, there are other sentences where the gender of the subject noun is same, however, the inflection of the verb varies, as in examples 27 and 28 above.
