Common use of Veteran Status Clause in Contracts

Veteran Status. For the purposes of layoff, an employee who is a veteran, or his or her surviving spouse, will have added to his or her seniority date the length of his or her veteran’s active military service to a maximum of five (5) years’ credit, as provided for in RCW 41.06.133 (13).
