VETERANS RE-EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS. Both the Selective Service Act of 1940 and the Military Selective Service Act require Employers to rehire veterans if the veterans meet certain eligibility requirements. However, a veteran need not be rehired if an Employer's circumstances have so changed as to make rehiring impossible or unreasonable.
