Common use of Voltage Regulators Clause in Contracts

Voltage Regulators. Whenever the Generating Facility is operated in parallel with the Transmission System and voltage regulators are capable of operation, Interconnection Customer shall operate the Generating Facility with its voltage regulators in automatic operation. If the Generating Facility's voltage regulators are not capable of such automatic operation, Interconnection Customer shall immediately notify Transmission Provider and ensure that such Generating Facility's reactive power production or absorption (measured in MVARs) are within the design capability of the Generating Facility's generating unit(s) and steady state stability limits.

If the Generating Facility's ’s voltage regulators are not capable of such automatic operation, Interconnection Customer shall immediately notify Transmission Provider Provider’s system operator, or its designated representative, and ensure that such Generating Facility's ’s reactive power production or absorption (measured in MVARs) are within the design capability of the Generating Facility's ’s generating unit(s) and steady state stability limits.
