W ork in Advance of Shift. When an employee is required to report for work in advance of assigned shift and continues working during the scheduled shift, all hours worked prior to the scheduled shift shall be paid at time and one-half (1½) the regular rate of pay. Work performed during the scheduled shift shall be paid at the regular rate of pay. An employee who reports to work in advance of the assigned shift will not be released from duty prior to the completion of that scheduled shift for the purpose of avoiding overtime pay unless there is mutual consent.
