WAIVER IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. Section 6.1 In cases of emergency declared by the President of the United States, the Governor of the State of Ohio, the Superintendent of the CCBDD, or the Federal or State legislatures, the following conditions of this Agreement shall automatically be suspended: A. time limits for the Employer or the Association replies on grievances; and B. all work rules and/or assignments and practices relating to the assignment of employees. Section 6.2 Upon termination of the emergency, should valid grievances exist, they shall be processed, in accordance with the provisions outlined in the grievance procedure, and shall proceed from the point in the grievance procedure to which they [the grievance(s)] had properly progressed.
