Association Dues Deduction. ‌ When the Association provides written authorization to the Employer for deduction of membership dues, the Employer will deduct from the employee’s salary, an amount equal to the dues required to be a member of the Association, depending on their permanent or non-permanent dues rate. The Agency will provide payments for all said deductions to the Association each pay period.

Association Dues Deduction. Every member of the bargaining unit shall maintain his/her membership in good standing in the Association during the life of this agreement or pay a representation fee equal to the Association dues required for membership as a condition of employment, except as provided in Section 2.2 below. Upon written authorization by an employee, the District shall deduct from the pay of such employee the monthly amount of dues or representation fees as certified by the Association and transmit said monies to the treasurer of the Association according to current practice unless otherwise advised by the Association.
Association Dues Deduction. A. As unit members individually and voluntarily authorize the Board of Education of Xxxxxxxxxx County, the Board agrees to withhold organizational dues and other deductions mutually agreed upon with the Association from the unit members' wages and to transmit such funds to the Association. The Board will include the name; the school, office, or department where the unit member is located; and the amount of each deduction with the transmittal of funds. B. Dues or representation fee will be deducted in equal payments during the terms of this Agreement beginning on the first full pay period following the receipt by the Employee and Retiree Service Center of the notice from the Association of the individually signed authorizations. This deduction will remain in effect for the term of this Agreement or until the deduction is canceled or revised in writing by the employee to the Association. The Association shall notify the Employee and Retiree Service Center on or before September 30 of any school year. For a full year, dues will be deducted over twenty (20) pay periods. C. The amount deducted from a unit member's wages will be for the total dues and other authorized deductions, and each individual must authorize by deduction authorization form signed by the unit member that such deductions shall be at the current rate. The Association shall certify to the Board in writing the current rate of dues by July 1 of each year. If this certification is not received by the Employee and Retiree Service Center, no deduction will be made. D. Each member of MCAAP/MCBOA will annually, on or about November 1, contribute one day or eight (8) hours of personal leave (or annual leave if personal leave is exhausted) to the leave bank available for use by MCAAP/MCBOA as described in Article 7 of this Agreement. E. The right of dues check-off in this Article shall be granted exclusively to the Association. F. The Association shall indemnify and save the Board harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits, or any other forms of liability that shall rise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by the Board for the purposes of complying with any list, notice, form, card, or assignment furnished under any such provisions.
Association Dues Deduction. Upon formal request of the treasurer, association dues will be deducted from paychecks. When vacancy occurs in a classification or a location assignment, it shall be posted in a conspicuous place for a period of five (5) days. Any employee may request the vacant position in writing. In selecting the replacement employee, the Board shall apply the following formula:

The Association shall notify the Assistant Superintendent for Business in writing of the total amount of annual and monthly dues. Such remittance will be accompanied by a listing of the names of employees from whose salary the dues were deducted. The Association agrees to indemnify and hold the Board harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of action taken or not taken by the Board for the purpose of complying with any of the provisions of this Article or in compliance with any assignments furnished under the provisions of this Article.

The Association reserves the right to cause the District to deduct dues from the salaries of Association members and promptly pay over to the proper officers of the Association the money so collected. B. No deduction shall be made, except in accordance with a deduction authorization form individually and voluntarily executed by the employee for whom the deduction is made. C. There shall be no restriction on the right of an employee to terminate his dues deduction authorization. D. The Association shall certify to the District in writing the current rate of membership dues. The District will be notified of any change in the rate of membership dues thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of such change. E. Upon written authorization to Payroll from an employee, either directly or through a limited power of attorney, the District agrees to deduct on a bi-weekly basis from the wages of said employee such sums as necessary for any other payroll deduction types authorized by the District. Each employee shall have the right to terminate such payroll deductions at any time upon written request to Payroll . F. The employee’s earnings must be regularly sufficient after other legal and required deductions are made to cover the amount of the appropriate Association dues. When a member in good standing of the Association is in non-pay status for an entire pay period, no withholding will be made to cover that pay period from future earnings. In the case of an employee who is in non-pay status during only part of the pay period, and the wages are not sufficient to cover the full withholding, no deductions shall be made. In this connection, all other legal and required deductions have priority over Association dues.
Association Dues Deduction. 16.1 On or before October 5th of each school year, the Association will submit payroll deduction authorization forms to the Superintendent for teachers who wish to initiate payroll deduction of Association dues and/or assessments. Such dues shall include BEA, ISTA, and NEA dues. 16.2 Payroll deduction of Association dues shall be in fifteen (15) equal pays, starting the second check in October. The deductions shall be remitted each applicable pay period to the Association treasurer.

Association Dues Deduction a. The Association, on or before September 2oth, shall transmit to the Treasurer a list of those employees who have properly signed payroll deduction authorizations and submitted them to the Association. The Board agrees to deduct from the wages of any member of the Association, the dues, initiation fees and assessments of the Association, upon presentation of a written deduction authorization from any employee-member of the Association. All monies deducted for such purposes shall be paid promptly to the Association. b. Deductions will be made in as nearly equal pay-period installments as possible during the school year and in an amount determined by the Association. Deductions shall begin with the first pay period in October. c. The Board, on a monthly basis, shall transmit to the Association a single check in the amount of all dues so deducted. d. In the event an employee xxxxxx employment, the treasurer shall deduct all owed and remaining dues from that employee’s last check. The Association, on or before September 20, shall transmit to the Board a list of those employees who have properly signed payroll deduction authorizations and submitted them to the Association.
Association Dues Deduction. Any Employee who is a member of the Association or who has applied for membership in the Association may sign and deliver to the Board authorization for continuous or annual dues deduction. The appropriate authorization forms shall be provided by the Association. The assignment shall specify the total amount of annual and monthly dues. The authorization is continuous and shall remain in effect from year to year unless the Employee revokes the authorization between August 1 and August 15 of any year. The Association shall hold the Board harmless for any liability arising out of its dues deduction responsibilities. For Employees employed on or before the start of the school year, the specified amount of dues will be deducted from payroll checks beginning in September and continuing through May. Dues payment will be remitted to the Association within ten (10) working days following each payroll in September through May. The Association shall hold the Board harmless and defend it against any action or claim of whatever nature in relation to such dues deduction. The proper authorization for membership dues deductions shall be the signature of the Employee on an authorization form submitted to the Superintendent or his/her designee.
Association Dues Deduction. The Board is authorized to deduct the periodic dues, initiation fees, and assessments of members of the Union upon presentation of a written deduction authorization by the individual teacher. Such written authorization shall be transmitted to the district Treasurer by the Union Treasurer by October 15 of the particular school year. The deductions shall cease upon the teacher’s submission of a written revocation of the authorization. A copy of the written revocation shall be forwarded by the teacher to the Union President within five (5) calendar days of its submission to the Treasurer.
