WAIVER IN CASE OF EMERGENCY. Section 30.1. In cases of emergency declared by the President of the United States, the Governor of the State of Ohio, the Washington County Sheriff, or the Federal or State Legislature, such as acts of God or civil disorder, the following conditions of this Agreement may be temporarily suspended by the Employer: A. Time limits for Management’s replies on grievances; and B. All work rules and/or agreements and practices relating to the assignment of employees. Section 30.2. Upon the termination of the emergency, should prior grievances exist, they shall be processed in accordance with the provisions outlined in the grievance procedure of this Agreement and shall proceed from the point in the grievance procedure to which they (the grievance(s)) had properly progressed, prior to the emergency.
