Where so specified hollow block walls shall be reinforced vertically with 10 mm diameter mild steel bars or 6 mm square twisted bars at 450 mm centres unless otherwise specified, the bars being tied in with the reinforcement of the floors at the top and bottom in an approved manner. No scheduled for steel in walls will be provided.
