Common use of Warrant Received But Lost, Stolen or Destroyed Clause in Contracts

Warrant Received But Lost, Stolen or Destroyed. If a warrant is lost, stolen or destroyed after being received by the employee, it will be replaced by the County Auditor's Office, who establishes procedures for such replacement of warrants. The Payroll Office will contact the Auditor's Office to arrange a time for the employee to execute a declaration to initiate replacement. A stop-payment action will be taken once the declaration is signed and a warrant will be reissued within two (2) working days. For destroyed warrants, please provide the Auditor's Office with any pieces of the mutilated warrant.
