Common use of Warranty for Corrected Clause in Contracts

Warranty for Corrected. Replacement or Repaired Warranted Parts Whenever any Warranted Part that contains a defect for which the Seller is liable under this Clause 12.1 has been corrected, repaired or replaced pursuant to the terms hereof, the period of the Seller's warranty with respect to such corrected, repaired or replacement Warranted Part, will be the remaining portion of the original warranty in respect of such corrected, repaired or replaced Warranted Part or twelve (12) months, whichever is longer. If a defect is attributable to a defective repair or replacement by the Buyer, a Warranty Claim with respect to such defect will be rejected, notwithstanding any subsequent correction or repair, and will immediately terminate the remaining warranties under this Clause 12.1 in respect of the affected Warranted Part.
