Common use of Waste Generation/Characterization Studies Clause in Contracts

Waste Generation/Characterization Studies. Contractor acknowledges that County may perform solid waste generation and characterization studies periodically, but no more often than once in any five-year period, to determine the composition of collected materials. Contractor agrees to participate and cooperate with County and its agents and to accomplish studies and data collection and prepare reports, as needed, to determine weights and volumes of solid waste and/or targeted recyclable materials and characterize materials generated, disposed, transformed, diverted or otherwise handled/processed to satisfy requirements of the Act.
