  • Contract Period Not Affected If the State suspends a work authorization, the contract period as determined in Article 2 of the contract (Contract Period) is not affected and the contract and the work authorization will terminate on the date specified unless the contract or work authorization is amended to authorize additional time.

  • Merit Pay It is the parties’ intent to not simultaneously provide employees with both: a) the wage premiums referenced in Subsection A of this Agreement, and b) an above-top-step merit premium program. Therefore, existing bargaining units with employees which have eligibility for above-top-step merit pay as provided under KCC 3.15.020(C)(3) and as administered under the King County Performance Appraisal and Merit Pay System under their appendix, that have elected as a group to be covered by the Merit Pay System, are not eligible for longevity-merit pay under Subsection A of this Agreement; however, such bargaining units have elected to forgo above-top-step merit for their members who are part of the Coalition in order for those members to be eligible for the longevity-merit pay under Subsection A of this Agreement. This provision would give employees who are covered by these administrative support coalition negotiations the option of: a) continuing to receive above-top-step merit pay they have access to under their respective bargaining unit’s existing collective bargaining agreement, or b) receiving the wage premium under Subsection A of this Agreement.

  • Qualified Distributions Qualified distributions from your Xxxx XXX (both the contributions and earnings) are not included in your income. A qualified distribution is a distribution which is made after the expiration of the five-year period beginning January 1 of the first year for which you made a contribution to any Xxxx XXX (including a conversion from a Traditional IRA), and is made on account of one of the following events. • Attainment of age 59½ • Disability • First-time homebuyer purchase • Death For example, if you made a contribution to your Xxxx XXX for 2007, the five-year period for determining whether a distribution is a qualified distribution is satisfied as of January 1, 2012.

  • Premium Payments If an employee with at least three years of service in the employ of the Shaker Heights Board of Education should exhaust his/her sick leave within the time specifications of this contract and is granted a leave of absence by the Board, the Board shall continue to pay his/her premiums in accordance with his/her work assignment for the following fringe benefits for a period not to exceed twelve (12) months. The payment of such premiums will cease on the effective date an employee retires, resigns, goes on disability retirement or his/her contract is terminated.

  • Payments Not Received (a) Payments are due and payable on the date of issue indicated on the bill for collection. When a payment for timber cut and other charges is not received at the location designated by Forest Service by the date allowed in the bill for collection for receipt of payment, Contracting Officer will suspend all or any part of Purchaser’s Operations until payment or acceptable payment guarantee is received. Other charges include, but are not limited to:

  • PROMPT PAYMENTS a. State Agencies Upon acceptance of Product or as otherwise provided by Contract, Contractor may invoice for payment.
