Withdrawal of Resignation. An employee is required to submit to the employer, at least fifteen (15) calendar days prior to the effective date of his/her resignation, a written notice of resignation. During the first five (5) days of such fifteen (15) day period the employee may retract his/her resignation without prejudice and such retraction must be accepted by the employer. Any retraction of the written resignation, presented by the employee during the period beginning ten (10) days prior to the effective date of the written resignation and extending through the period of ten (10) days after the effective date of the resignation, may be accepted at the sole discretion of the appointing authority of the applicable agency.
