Common use of Withholding of Payment Clause in Contracts

Withholding of Payment. In addition to its other remedies under this Contract, at law, or in equity, State may withhold payments to Contractor if Contractor has breached this Contract. Such withholding may not be greater than, in the aggregate, 15% of the total value of the subject statement of work or applicable contract.
