WORK INJURY PAY. An employee who is injured on the job during his working hours, and who as a consequence (a) is required to leave his place of work in order to obtain treatment; and (b) receives neither weekly indemnity benefits pursuant to the GVHEA/Local 40 Health Care Plan nor time-loss benefits from the Workers' Compensation Board for the balance of the shift during which he was injured; shall be paid by the Employer at his straight time rate for all of the hours he was scheduled to work on the day on which he was so injured.
