Common use of Work of the      Unit Clause in Contracts

Work of the      Unit. Persons whose jobs are not in the bargaining unit, excepting residents performing minimal services, shall not work on any jobs which are included in the bargaining unit, unless it is for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, or in emergencies, and providedthat the act of the aforementioned does not in itself reduce the hours of pay of any employee within the bargaining unit.
