Work Opportunity Mandated Testing. In all situations in which an employer is re- quired to agree to testing for prohibited substances to qualify as a bidder on the project, the em- ployer may require testing for prohibited substances. Tests shall be performed according to the standards established in this Policy, unless the employer is required to use different standards to qualify as a bidder on the project in which case those required standards shall be used. The employer will not discriminate against an employee who refuses a job assignment to a project that has work opportunity mandated testing.

Those results could then be used in certain future work opportunity mandated testing so that those employees who had been tested recently could avoid being retested.
