Common use of Workers’ Compensation Certification Clause in Contracts

Workers’ Compensation Certification. 16 14.1. Prior to the commencement of work, CONTRACTOR shall sign and file with COUNTY 17 the following certification: “I am aware of the provisions of California Labor Code 18 §§3700 et seq. which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ 19 compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that 20 code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the 21 work of this contract.”

Workers’ Compensation Certification. 16 14.113 12.1. Prior to the commencement of work, CONTRACTOR CONSULTANT shall sign and file with COUNTY 17 14 the following certification: “I am aware of the provisions of California Labor Code 18 §§§ 15 3700 et seq. which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ 19 16 compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that 20 17 code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the 21 18 work of this contract.”

Prior to the commencement of work, CONTRACTOR CONSULTANT shall sign and file with COUNTY 17 GRANTEE the following certificationcertification prior 21 to performing the Work: “I am aware of the provisions of California Labor Code 18 22 §§3700 et seq. which require every employer to be insured against liability for workers’ 19 compensation or to undertake self-insurance in accordance with the provisions of that 20 code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of the 21 work of this contract.”for

Prior to the commencement of work, CONTRACTOR INVESTIGATOR shall sign and file with COUNTY 17 the following certificationcertification prior to 27 performing the Work: “I am aware of the provisions of California Labor Code 18 §§3700 et 28 seq. which require every employer to be insured against liability for workersWorkers’ 19 compensation 1 Compensation or to undertake self-self insurance in accordance with the provisions of that 20 2 code, and I will comply with such provisions before commencing the performance of 3 the 21 work of this contract.”
