Common use of Workers’ Compensation/Employer’s Liability Insurance Clause in Contracts

Workers’ Compensation/Employer’s Liability Insurance. Such insurance shall be no more restrictive than that provided by the latest edition of the standard Workers’ Compensation Policy, as filed for use in Florida by the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI), with the exception of endorsements required by NCCI or the State of Florida. The policy must be endorsed to waive the insurer’s right to subrogate against County in the manner which would result from the attachment of the NCCI form “Waiver of our Right to Recover from Others Endorsement” (Advisory Form WC 00 03 13) with County scheduled thereon. Where appropriate, coverage shall be included for any applicable Federal or State employer’s liability laws including, but not limited to, the Federal Employer’s Liability Act, the Xxxxx Act, and the Longshoreman and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
