WORKING FOREMEN. When the crew size is five (5) or less, including the xxxxxxx, the xxxxxxx may be required to work with the tools of the trade.
WORKING FOREMEN. When the Employer chooses to employ a working xxxxxxx, such working xxxxxxx must be a member of the IBEW and in possession of an Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a licensed electrician. When a working xxxxxxx is employed he shall receive a eight (8) percent per hour premium above the regular journeyman’s rate. One (1) Journeyman must be designated as a xxxxxxx when the following conditions exist: ▪ They have supervisory and/or layout responsibilities and they direct six (6) or more employees and they act as a company representative when dealing with builders or superintendents and foremen on behalf of the on-site general contractors. One xxxxxxx shall not supervise more than twelve (12) employees. ▪ On all projects requiring a xxxxxxx, employees are not to take directions from anyone except the xxxxxxx or anyone in a supervisory or managerial capacity with the employer. ▪ All Foremen must be members of the IBEW and in possession of an Ontario Certificate of Qualification as a licensed electrician.
WORKING FOREMEN. 12.1 Official, managerial or supervisory employees shall not be allowed to perform the work of bargaining unit members when the latter are available. This is not intended to restrict the use of working foremen in accordance with established practice at small points.
WORKING FOREMEN. Employees outside of the bargaining unit will not perform work that is normally done by employees in the bargaining unit. However, nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as prohibiting foremen from doing work for purposes of instruction, provided in doing so a layoff of bargaining unit employees does not result, or in the case of an emergency when regular employees are not available, provided that every reasonable effort is made to find a replacement.
WORKING FOREMEN. The Parties agree that the Employer may designate a work- ing xxxxxxx. When such designation is made; such working xxxxxxx shall receive a premium above journeyman caulk- er of Two Dollars ($2.00) per hour.
WORKING FOREMEN. The selection, determination and designation of foremen is the sole responsibility of the Employer. Any foremen performing bargaining unit work shall come under the terms of this Agreement.
WORKING FOREMEN. Working foremen will work with tools or machinery as necessary in the performance of their duties.
WORKING FOREMEN. 13.01 Where a working xxxxxxx is employed, he shall be paid not less than one dollar ($1.00) per hour above the Lead Hand classification.
WORKING FOREMEN. Where the crew size is (5) or less, the xxxxxxx may work with the tools on mutual agreement of the Employer and the Local Business Manager.
WORKING FOREMEN. Whenever bargaining unit employees are assigned work requiring supervision and no working xxxxxxx is assigned to this work, there shall be either a craftsman or working xxxxxxx assigned to such work. The assignment of a working xxxxxxx shall be at the discretion of management.
