Working in Radiation Area. On work contracted from an employer whose employees receive the following premiums, employees working in a radiation area and in plastic suits or replacement material of the fully enveloping type with an independent air supply, will receive the following: $17.00 per day plus any increase negotiated by the other employer. A day for the purpose of this article shall be defined as any period up to twelve (12) hours.

Working in Radiation Area. On work contracted from an employer whose employees receive the following premiums, employees working in a radiation area and in plastic suits or replacement material of the fully enveloping type with an independent air supply, will receive the following: Effective May 1, 2006: $ 15.00 per day plus any increase negotiated by the other employer. A day for the purpose of this article shall be defined as any period up to twelve (12) hours. The undersigned parties agree to the following interpretation of Article 9.08(b)(ii) for the Province of Ontario. The subsistence allowance under the circumstances of Article 9.08(b)(ii) shall be one hundred thirty dollars ($130.00) effective May 1,2006, one hundred thirty five dollars ($135.00) effective May 1, 2007 and one hundred forty ($140.00) effective May 1, 2008 per night spent in a hotel. The subsistence shall cover the costs of both hotel and three (3) meals in a twenty-four (24) hour period of such work/travel plus an allowance for meals reasonably taken in conjunction with such work/travel outside of the twenty-four (24) hour period in a day in which he does not stay in a hotel. Where the total hours worked and traveled after the end of a twenty-four (24) hour period is at least eight (8) actual hours, the meal allowance shall include all three (3) meals. Such allowance shall be in the following amounts: 2006 2007 2008 Breakfast $ 14.00 $14.00 $15.00 Lunch $ 15.00 $15.00 $17.00 Dinner $ 18.00 $18.00 $21.00 [As an example, an employee who departs on a six (6) hour drive at noon on Day 1, works on Day 2, stays overnight on Days 1 and 2, works two (2) hours on Day 3 and travels six (6) hours on Day 3 to arrive back at 4:30 p.m. shall receive:] Day 1 – One hundred thirty ($130.00) One hundred thirty five ($135.00) Day 2 – One hundred thirty ($130.00) One hundred thirty five ($135.00) Day 3 – Fifteen dollars ($15.00) for lunch Fifteen dollars ($15.00) for lunch Day 1 - One hundred forty ($140.00) Day 2 - One hundred forty ($140.00) Day 3 - Seventeen dollars ($17.00) for lunch The following conditions shall apply to all construction, non-construction and maintenance work performed in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

  • Alpine Areas As of 1 October 2020 the Employer shall pay an Alpine disability allowance of $3.85 worked on Projects in alpine areas. These allowances will be adjusted annually in accordance with CPI (All Groups, Melbourne) movements measured in the twelve month period ending the previous December quarter effective as of 1 March 2021, rounded to the nearest 5 cents.

  • Area The sphere of operation shall be England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

  • Buildings The Employer will provide and maintain all state-owned buildings, facilities, and equipment in accordance with the specific written order(s) of the Michigan (MIOSHA) Departments of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and/or Health and Human Services. Where facilities are leased by the Employer, the Employer shall make a reasonable attempt to assure that such facilities comply with the order(s) of the Michigan Departments of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and/or Health and Human Services.

  • Meters (a) You must allow safe and unhindered access to your premises for the purposes of reading and maintaining the meters (where relevant). (b) We will use our best endeavours to ensure that a meter reading is carried out as frequently as is needed to prepare your bills, consistently with the metering rules and in any event at least once every 12 months.

  • Pipelines Developer shall have no interest in the pipeline gathering system, which gathering system shall remain the sole property of Operator or its Affiliates and shall be maintained at their sole cost and expense.

  • Excavation If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the Leased Premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the Leased Premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which the Leased Premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundation, without any claim for damages or indemnity from Landlord, or diminution or abatement of Rent.

  • Underground Facilities All underground pipelines, conduits, ducts, cables, wires, manholes, vaults, tanks, tunnels, or other such facilities or attachments, and any encasements containing such facilities, including without limitation those that convey electricity, gases, steam, liquid petroleum products, telephone or other communications, cable television, water, wastewater, storm water, other liquids or chemicals, or traffic or other control systems.

  • Service Area (a) SORACOM shall provide the SORACOM Air Global Service within the area designated on the web site of SORACOM (the “Service Area”), provided, that, the Service Area may be different if stated otherwise as specified by SORACOM separately. However, within the Service Area, you may not use the SORACOM Air Global Service in places where transmissions are difficult to send or receive. (b) The parties of this Agreement acknowledge that there may be countries or locations within which SORACOM may be restricted from providing the SORACOM Air Global Service due to applicable laws, regulations, decisions, rules or orders (“Restrictions”). During the Term, SORACOM will use reasonable efforts to monitor whether there are any such Restrictions. SORACOM may in its sole discretion and at any time, suspend, discontinue, limit, or modify the SORACOM Air Global Service or impose additional requirements on the provision of the SORACOM Air Global Service, as may be reasonably required to comply with any such Restrictions. (c) In no event will SORACOM be required to provide the SORACOM Air Global Service in countries or locations, or in a manner that would be in violation of the Restrictions and its failure to provide the SORACOM Air Global Service due to the Restrictions will not be deemed to be a breach of its obligations under this Agreement. (d) In the event that any Restriction, or any change in applicable law, regulation, decision, rule or order materially or adversely affects the delivery of the SORACOM Air Global Service (including the economic viability thereof), SORACOM will notify Subscribers in writing and the parties will negotiate in good faith regarding changes to this Agreement. If the parties cannot reach agreement within 30 days after notification from SORACOM requesting renegotiation, SORACOM may terminate the Agreement upon 30 days’ written notice to the Subscriber.
