Working Year for Employees who Work Less than 52 Weeks. At the beginning of each fiscal year, for employees who work less than 52 weeks, the immediate supervisor shall determine the start and end of each employee's working year provided all weeks of such work year run consecutively, unless the employee and supervisor mutually agree otherwise. In the event the immediate supervisor finds it necessary for vacation coverage and other circumstances to schedule additional work weeks, employees who are qualified and are regularly scheduled to work less than 52 weeks per year shall have the opportunity to perform such work. In the event that no such qualified bargaining unit employee requests such work, the College may use temporary employees.
