Workplace Policies. The Employer may have written workplace policies which, among other things, regulate worker conduct, expectations and behaviour. You are required to be familiar with the content of all such policies, and to comply with their terms at all times. Any failure to do so may result in disciplinary action up to, and including, termination of employment. To the extent that the policies describe any benefits and entitlements for the Employee, or impose any obligations on the Employer, these are discretionary in nature and not intended to be contractual. The terms and conditions of your employment that are intended to be contractual are set out in this contract. The Employer may unilaterally introduce, vary, remove or replace policies at any time. You are required to wear appropriate professional clothing and footwear (including where relevant protective clothing and/or equipment) suitable to the nature of the work you perform and the location where you perform that work, or as directed or required by the Employer or its workplace policies. You must maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times. The Employer may provide you with company property during your employment such as insert e.g. laptop computers, mobile phones and/or an Employer credit card. The provision of any company property is on an as needs basis dependent on your role, and at the discretion of the Employer. Equipment may be withdrawn by the Employer at any time. You must ensure that all company property in your possession or control is properly cared for and maintained. Company property must be used in accordance with any applicable workplace policy. Personal use is not permitted other than as provided for by a workplace policy, or as otherwise expressly permitted by the Employer. During and after your employment, you must: keep all Confidential Information secret and confidential; take all reasonable and necessary precautions to maintain the secrecy and prevent the disclosure of any Confidential Information; not, whether directly or indirectly, disclose any Confidential Information to any third party; and not use any part of or make copies of any Confidential Information, except; as reasonably required in the ordinary and proper course of your employment; to the extent required by law; or where you first obtain the Employer’s written consent to do so.

Workplace Policies i. The Employer may from time to time have written workplace policies in place which deal with a variety of matters concerning how the workplace operates, procedures to be followed and expectations in relation to particular aspects of the business. The purpose of these policies is to make clear what the Employer expects from employee in relation to the aspect of the business dealt with by the policy. ii. Employee agrees to be familiar with the content of all such policies, and to comply with their terms at all times. If uncertain of where these polices are located or what obligations they impose, employee have an express obligation to raise this with your manager. Manager will then provide with, or direct to, the required information. iii. Workplace Policies. All employees agree to adhere to the employer’s workplace policies including but not limited to policies relating to workplace health & safety, non smoking, use of company vehicle, as they may vary from time to time. Workplace Policies. ⮚ There will be the following workplace policies implemented and monitored by Company, Contractors, Subcontractors, in consultation with Innu Nation, and, where appropriate, the Innu Employment Training Coordinator (IETC) and the Innu Employee Advisory Committee (IEAC), during Construction. o Forbidding bringing alcohol into the workplace and limiting consumption of alcohol in the workplace o Forbidding illegal drug use and substance abuse o Forbidding employees from hunting, fishing, trapping and harvesting, although Innu employees can hunt, fish, trap or camp outside the Project Area, as long as they still perform their jobs, and Innu employees may harvest in the Project Area with the prior approval of Company o Controlling firearms o Occupational health and safety o Transportation and places for employees to live while working on the Project o Translating signs and other safety-related documents into Innu-aimun so Innu workers understand them and can work safely o mandatory training about Innu culture, and about sensitivity to Innu women, for all employees o Forbidding discrimination and harassment against Innu employee ⮚ Company, Innu Nation and possibly the IETC and IEAC, will review workplace policies, and seek to identify ways to reduce barriers to workplace participation for Innu women, and Company will decide on the ways that will be implemented. ⮚ English will be the language of the workplace, and all Innu will have to speak English well enough to be able to work safely and efficiently. ⮚ Innu employees can choose to stay at campsites near the Project Area, but can’t camp in the Project Area except with approval of the Company or Contractor. Innu employees who stay at campsites will not receive allowances for accommodations and meals, but they can receive meals at the workplace and stay there if there is room.
Workplace Policies. You will comply with all written Company rules and policies ("Policies") established by the Company. The Company may, from time to time, amend, alter, establish new policies or delete policies (the "Revised Policies") and immediately upon receiving notice of such Revised Policies, you will be governed by and comply with such Revised Policies.

The Company shall be entitled to amend such policies from time to time without notice. Workplace Policies. You will be bound by Group policies and the Employer’s workplace policies on various subjects. You will be issued with a non-exhaustive list of those Group and Employer policies which apply to your employment, at the commencement of your employment. The Employer will provide the Union with ten (10) calendar days' notice prior to implementing a new or revised policy or deleting covered by this Article, so that the Union has an opportunity to review the policy and meet with Employees if it so chooses. During the ten (10) calendar day notice period, upon the request of the Union, the Employer and the Union shall meet and confer on the effects of the policy. Should the Union fail to request and hold such a meeting during the ten (10) calendar day period or upon the conclusion of the meeting with the Union, the policy shall go into effect. The Employer shall provide Local Union a list of policies which have been changed or modified since the last provision, current policies at least annually on or around July 1st.
