Common use of Writing Advisor Clause in Contracts

Writing Advisor. Writing Centre: “Writing Advisor – Writing Centre” is a person employed in the Student Service Centre to provide writing instruction and assist with program review and development, the promotion and daily operation of the Writing Centre, Tutor training and coordination of writing “labs”. The current duties and responsibilities for the position are outlined in the May 2012 job description. Changes to the job description during the term of the Collective Agreement will require the consent of the Employer, the Association and the Writing Advisor. Such changes shall not be unreasonably requested, nor shall they be unreasonably refused. Salary scale for the term position “Writing Advisor – Writing Centre” shall be equivalent to that of Lecturer. The terms and conditions of employment shall be contained in the current contract, and the provisions of the Collective Agreement shall also apply, except for:
