Written Claim for Benefits. If a Participant asserts a right to any benefit under the Plan which he or she has not received, the Participant must file a written claim for such benefit with the Plan Administrator. If the Plan Administrator wholly or partially denies such claim, it shall provide written notice to the claimant within 90 days (or longer if the situation so requires but not longer than 180 days) of the receipt by the Plan Administrator of the application.
