Written Order Required. In any disciplinary action to dismiss, suspend, temporarily reduce the pay of, or demote an employee having permanent status in a position in the merit system, after having complied with the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ requirements where applicable, the appointing authority shall make an order in writing stating specifically the causes for the action.
