Written to Deputy or Division Chief. The Union may, within the time limits set forth above, file a written grievance signed by the employee and his Xxxxxxx on a form provided by the City setting forth the nature of the grievance and the contract provision(s) involved. The Deputy or Division Chief designated by the Fire Chief to hear Step 1 grievances shall give a written answer in ten (10) calendar days after receipt of the written grievance.
