XXXXXXX PROCESS GRIEVANCES IN THEIR AREA. Shop stewards shall not handle any grievance arising outside of their respective areas except in the absence of a shop xxxxxxx. In such an event, the shop xxxxxxx assigned to the area nearest the absent shop xxxxxxx’x area shall be permitted to handle grievances in the absent shop xxxxxxx’x area in accordance with Article 7 of this Agreement.
