Xxxxxxxxx Pay Amount. Severance pay shall be based on the teacher’s regular rate of pay at the time of separation and shall be forty percent (40%) of the teacher’s accumulated but unused sick leave. Effective the date this contract is approved by the Legislature, teachers who are eligible to receive severance pay will have one hundred percent (100%) of their severance pay placed into the teacher’s Post-Retirement Health Care Savings Plan account established by Article 25, Section 15.
