Xxxxxxxxx Pay Amount. Severance pay shall be based on the employee's regular rate of pay at the time of separation and shall be forty percent (40%) of the employee's accumulated but unused sick leave. Effective December 1, 2005, employees who are eligible to receive severance pay will have seventy-five percent (75%) of severance pay distributed to the employee’s Post Retirement Health Care Savings Plan account established by Article 25, Section 14. The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of severance pay will be paid to the employee in cash.
