FOR THE UNION FOR THE BOARD Hereinafter referred to as “The Parties” RE: Call In Procedure Before June 1, 2009, the Parties agree to develop a standardized call in procedure to be implemented throughout the system with regard to the procedure to be used to replace Education Assistants who are absent. It is agreed and understood that the Labour Management group will be the forum for this discussion to occur. FOR THE UNION FOR THE BOARD Hereinafter referred to as “The Parties” RE: Baseline Staffing Level The baseline staffing level for the purposes of the Provincial Discussion Table is 116.0 FTE for the 2008/2009 school year. It is agreed and understood that this number is the starting point for staffing the schools with Education Assistants. It is incumbent upon the Board to staff the schools according to need beyond this number. In the event that special education funding decreases, below the 2008/2009 funding levels during the term of the Collective Agreement, the baseline staffing level may be decreased on a pro-rated basis consistent with the decrease of special education funding.
