Common use of Your Client Categorisation Clause in Contracts

Your Client Categorisation. For the purposes of providing you with Services, we have categorised you as a retail client. This means that you are afforded the highest level of protection under the regulatory system. You have the right to request re-categorisation as a professional client in which case you must give us notice in writing, and you will lose certain protections under the regulatory regime. SCM will consider any request for re-categorisation but is not obliged to grant such a request.
