Employment Categories. (a) Employees under this Agreement will be employed in one of the following categories:
(i) full-time;
(ii) part time; or
(iii) casual.
(b) At the time of engagement an employer will inform each employee whether they are employed on a full-time, part time or casual basis. An employer may direct an employee to carry out such duties that are within the limits of the employee’s skill, competence and training, consistent with the respective classification.
Employment Categories. A. The Red Cross shall standardize all bargaining unit job classifications (to include updating job descriptions) within the first one hundred eighty days (180) days from the effective date of this Agreement. Prior to implementation, the Red Cross shall serve notice to the Coalition in accordance with Article 22, and bargain any changes to the extent required by law.
B. Prior to implementing or posting any new job classifications or positions, the Red Cross shall provide the Teamsters Partnership Committee (TPC) Coalition with notice in accordance with Article 22.
C. The Parties agree to explore the creation of a Per Diem Program to augment the workforce and create better work/life balance for employees.
Section 2. Employees shall fall into the following four categories:
A. Regular Full-Time: American Red Cross employees who are normally scheduled to work 40 or more hours in a work week (or 80 hours in a two week period) and are not a temporary employee. This includes those employees who are regularly scheduled to work 35 or more hours per week and are members of bargaining units where this was considered to be full time employment at the time of the ratification of this National Teamsters Addendum.
B. Regular Part-Time: American Red Cross employees who are normally scheduled to work less than 40 hours in a work week (or less than 80 hours in a two week period) and are not a temporary employee. This includes those employees who work less than 35 hours where full-time is considered as 35 or more hours per week. This category also includes employees who work on an as-needed basis without a defined schedule. Hours worked by employees without defined work schedules will be reviewed every six months for prolonged periods of inactivity.
Employment Categories. Summary This clause describes the various categories of employment under this award.

Employment Categories. 6.1 Employees must be engaged on a full time or regular part time or on a casual basis. No person will be employed except as a weekly employee or a casual employee.
6.2 A full time employee is a weekly employee whose ordinary hours of work must not exceed an average of 38 hours per week. An employee not specifically engaged as a part time or casual employee is for all purposes of this Agreement a full time employee unless specified otherwise in this Agreement.
Employment Categories. The Employees may be employed in any of the following categories:
Employment Categories. 4.6.1 Employees covered by this Agreement will be advised in writing of their employment status upon appointment. Employment categories are:
(a) Full-time
(b) Part-time (as defined); or
(a) Casual (as defined) (d) Probational
Employment Categories. Employees shall be placed in all categories for which they qualify. The following categories and specialties are established to ensure the qualifications of personnel assigned to retain positions:
9.2.3.1 Elementary teachers:
a) Grades K through five b) Elementary Music
Employment Categories. The following categories and specialties are established to ensure the qualifications of certificated employees assigned to retained positions:
a. Elementary teachers will be considered for retention in one category (K-5).
b. Secondary teachers will be considered for retention in one category (6-12).
c. All members of the bargaining unit will be considered for retention according to their specialties and when categorical funding supports a particular program, said program(s) shall be maintained and exempt from Reduction in Force, to the extent of such categorical funding; provided, individual certificated employees shall not be exempt from Reduction in Force if a qualified (as specified herein), more senior certificated employee is being non-renewed and makes a request to staff such a program position.
Employment Categories. 7.1 An employee will be employed in one of the following types:
(1) Full-time;
(2) Part -time; or
