– YVC Classes. Employees may take YVC College classes during work time with no loss of pay in accordance with the YVC Tuition Waiver Policy if approved by the supervisor. In the event the supervisor denies the request, the employee may appeal to the Director of Human Resource Services. The College shall waive all tuition and fees for all employees who wish to take YVC classes under the following conditions: a. The College shall give employees priority in waivers over non–employees; b. Employees shall pay a fee in accordance with the YVC Tuition Waiver Practice/Procedure each quarter that courses are taken; c. Employees shall register and be enrolled in courses on a space–available basis; d. Overload registration will be at the discretion of the instructor of the course.
