Regulations Applying to Both Types of Passes. Passes are issued in the holder’s name, or must be filled in correctly by the holder. They are not transferable and are only valid in conjunction with an official ID docu- ment. In cases of misuse the passes will be withdrawn without compensation. In the case of joint participation by a number of exhibitors, only the authorised exhibitor will receive the required passes. Additional passes are available, for which a charge will be made. Messe Berlin is entitled to take photographs, make drawings, or to make films or video recordings of events taking place at the fair, of structures and stands, or of exhibits, and to use these for advertising purposes or for publication in the media. No objections for whatever reason by exhibitors will be enter- tained. This also applies to photographs or recordings made directly by the press or television with the approval of Messe Berlin.
