All voluntary transfers of teachers to a K-12 school ranked in deciles 1 to 3, inclusive, on the Academic Performance Index shall comply with section 35036 of the Education Code.
In accordance with Section 35036 of the California Education Code, the principal of a school that is ranked in deciles 1 to 3, inclusive, on the Academic Performance Index may refuse to accept the transfer request of a bargaining unit member.
