Active Contractor definition

Active Contractor means a person who owns a commodity that is produced by a contract producer at the contract producer’s contract operation pursuant to a production contract executed pursuant to section 202.2.
Active Contractor means a Contractor who is eligible to receive all new Form 1s posted by the OGS HBITS Team for a particular Contract year.
Active Contractor means a Qualified Contractor who is in compliance with the terms and conditions and whose evidence of insurance requirements have all been received by the Department and are valid and in effect at the time of a given Work Order award. As used herein, the terms Active Contractor and Contractor may be used interchangeably throughout this document.

  • Home improvement contractor or "contractor" means a person who sells goods and services, or agrees to furnish or render services, to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement installment contract, or sells goods and services to a retail buyer pursuant to a home improvement charge agreement, but not in connection with construction of new homes.
