e-Procurement means the use of information and communication technology (especially the internet) by the Procuring Entity in conducting its procurement processes with bidders for the acquisition of goods (supplies), works and services with the aim of open, non discriminatory and efficient procurement through transparent procedures;
Cooperative procurement means procurement conducted by, or on behalf of:
Mis-procurement means public procurement in contravention of any provision of Sindh Public Procurement Act, 2010, any rule, regulation, order or instruction made thereunder or any other law in respect thereof, or relating to, public procurement;
Sole source procurement means a procurement without competition pursuant to a determination under Subsection 63G-6a-802(1)(a) that there is only one source for the procurement item.
Procurement item means a supply, a service, Custom Deliverable, construction, or technology that Contractor is required to deliver to the Eligible User under this Contract.
FIRM PROCUREMENT means the agreement between the parties for mutually agreed terms and conditions with commitment of Quantity Ordered.
Pendency of the procurement process means the time period commencing with the public notice of the request for proposals and ending with the award of the contract or the cancellation of the request for proposals.
pre-commercial procurement means the procurement of research and development services involving risk-benefit sharing under market conditions, and competitive development in phases, where there is a clear separation of the research and development services procured from the deployment of commercial volumes of end-products;
Procurement means the purchasing, buying, renting, leasing, or otherwise obtaining of any supplies, services, or construction. It includes all functions that pertain to the procurement of any supply, service, or construction item, including description of requirements, selection and solicitation of sources, preparation and award of contract, and all phases of contract administration;
Public Procurement means the acquisition by any means of goods, works or services by the government;
Materials recovery facility means a solid waste management facility that provides for the extraction from solid waste of recyclable materials, materials suitable for use as a fuel or soil amendment, or any combination of such materials.
Outsourcing facility means a facility that is engaged in the compounding of sterile drugs and is currently registered as an outsourcing facility with the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services and that complies with all applicable requirements of federal and state law, including the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.
Procurement Process means the process commenced by the issuing of this Invitation and concluding upon the award of a contract (or other outcome as determined by Tetra Tech International Development) or upon the earlier termination of the process
Advanced Services refers to high speed, switched, broadband, wireline Telecommunications capability that enables users to originate and receive high-quality, voice, data, graphics or video Telecommunications using any technology.
Procurement Plan means the Recipient’s procurement plan for the Project, dated April 2, 2010, and referred to in paragraph 1.16 of the Procurement Guidelines and paragraph 1.24 of the Consultant Guidelines, as the same shall be updated from time to time in accordance with the provisions of said paragraphs.
Advance directive means a document that contains a health care instruction or a power of attorney for health care.
Procurement Management means the Director of Lee County’s Procurement Management Department or designee.
Procurement Guidelines means the “Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and XXX Credits” published by the Bank in May 2004 and revised in October, 2006.
Disruption of the educational process means the interruption of classwork, the creation of disorder, or the invasion of the rights of a student or group of students.
Administrative Procedures means the Administrative Procedures of Minnesota Management & Budget developed in accord with M.S. 43A.04, subdivision 4.
Child support order means a support order for a child, including a child who has attained the age of majority under the law of the issuing state or foreign country.
Medical Child Support Order means any judgment, decree or order (including approval of a domestic relations settlement agreement) issued by a court of competent jurisdiction that:
Public procurement unit means either a local public procurement unit or a state public procurement unit.
Infrastructure facility means a building; structure; or networks of buildings, structures, pipes, controls, and equipment, or portion thereof, that provide transportation, utilities, public education, or public safety services. Included are government office buildings; public schools; courthouses; jails; prisons; water treatment plants, distribution systems, and pumping stations; wastewater treatment plants, collection systems, and pumping stations; solid waste disposal plants, incinerators, landfills, and related facilities; public roads and streets; highways; public parking facilities; public transportation systems, terminals, and rolling stock; rail, air, and water port structures, terminals, and equipment.
Advanced life support or “ALS” means special services designed to provide definitive prehospital emergency medical care, including, but not limited to, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, cardiac monitoring, cardiac defibrillation, advanced airway management, intravenous therapy, administration of specified drugs and other medicinal preparations, and other specified techniques and procedures administered by authorized personnel under the direct supervision of a base hospital as part of a local EMS system at the scene of an emergency, during transport to an acute care hospital, during interfacility transfer, and while in the emergency department of an acute care hospital until responsibility is assumed by the emergency or other medical staff of that hospital.
Procurement Services shall refer to a business unit of OGS, formerly known as New York State Procurement (“NYSPro”) and Procurement Services Group (“PSG”).
