Affected Individual definition

Affected Individual means any person who is your current, former or prospective customer, client, patient, member, owner, student, director or employee and whose “personally identifying information” or “personally sensitive information” is lost, stolen, accidentally released or accidentally published by a “personal data compromise” covered under this Cyber Coverage. This definition is subject to the following provisions:

Affected Individual means an individual who is serving on active duty during the national emergency; or who resides or is employed in an area that is declared a disaster area by any federal, state, or local official in connection with the national emergency; or who suffered direct economic hardship as a result of the national emergency, as determined under a waiver or modification issued pursuant to this section.

Affected Individual means any person who is your current, former, or prospective customer, client, mem- ber, director, or employee and whose "personally iden- tifying information" is lost, stolen, accidentally re- leased, or accidentally published by a "personal data breach" covered under this Extension of Coverage.

• After receiving a request for Identity Protection Services via the incident response website, AllClear ID will send a confirmation email to the Affected individual including a description of the AllClear ID Identity Protection Services offered, the duration of service, and a redemption code which the Affected Individual may utilize to enroll in Identity Protection Services, if applicable.

• The failure of any Affected Individual to comply with the Covered Entity’s compliance program may permit the Covered Entity to terminate any such contract.

• Affected Individual means any person who is your current, former or prospective customer, client, member, owner, director or employee and whose Personally Identifying Information is lost, stolen, accidentally released or accidentally published by a Personal Data Compromise covered under this Section.

• This service is initiated by the Affected Individual contacting the designated service provider who will provide assistance with placement alerts with all designated Canadian credit bureaus.

• An alert placed on a credit file advising the creditor to validate the legitimacy of a credit application by contacting the Affected Individual.

Affected Individual means any person whose “personally identifying information” or “personally sensitive information” is lost, stolen, accidentally released or accidentally published by a “personal data compromise” covered under this Cyber Coverage.
