  • If the Agency/Contractor fails to effect or keep in force or provide adequate cover in the insurance policies mentioned in the sub clause 24(1) or any other insurance he might be required to effect under the contract, then in such cases, the employer may effect and keep in force any such insurance or further insurance and the cost and expenses incurred by him in this regard shall be deductible from payments due to the Agency/Contractor or from the Agency/Contractor’s performance security.
